“Science means always walking a tightrope between blind faith and curiosity; between expertise and creativity; between bias and openness; between experience and epiphany; between ambition and passion; and between arrogance and conviction – in short, between an old today and a new tomorrow.”
SIS celebrated Science Week 2021.
Science Week is an annual event, encouraging the children to think about how the sciences, technology, engineering, and math relate to our everyday lives – while having fun.
This year the week consisted of new adventures for everyone and scientific journeys under the theme of “Young Scientists Days.”

SIS Science Department teachers have planned a whole week of activities linked to the themes: “exploration, discovery, reality, miracles.”
