Kg1 Students Discovering Sis Neighborhood & Exploring Jobs!
“Tell me, and I forget. Teach me, and I remember. Involve me, and I learn. ” ~ Benjamin Franklin
The purpose of education is to prepare students for life. Incorporating real-world activities into a lesson plan helps students understand why and what they’re learning at school, and how it is useful for life to learn such topics. It’s an approach that works for every lesson to increase engagement in the learning process, as students gain valuable insights into real-life applications of the skills they’re being taught.
KG1 students had an educational field trip that served the topic being taught in Language Arts ”Neighborhood – Exploring Jobs”.
The objective of this field trip is that the students have visited some places that raised their awareness about the community around and close to their school and at the same time, exploring different careers.
The students visited the following places:
1) The Bank
2) Go Market
3) Gas Station
4) Platinum Sports Club
7) The Mosque
Our respected staff explained to our lovable students the role of each place we ‘ve visited along with the representatives’ explanations in each station. Our adorable children were excited about what they have seen on this tour.
Well Done KG1.
Good Luck In Your Next Trip!
